The right to sleep is restricted in public utility areas. critic.
There is a limited right to sleep in public areas. Criticism.
We observe a significant number of citizens sleeping in public places at night, prompting the individuals mentioned above to remove them. Now, whether a person can sleep or not is a big question. No problem; there are many things that we can do, but we cannot do that.
For instance, bus station security guards often throw out sleepers and passengers. If you go to see the clock, there will be a crowd there, and there is no place for other citizens to sit, then in such a situation, we should definitely make room, right?
Then the question arises, do we have the right to sleep?
So the answer is complicated; the Honourable Supreme Court of India has stated that we have the right to sleep peacefully. (Ram Israni vs. ED).
If a wedding is taking place next to us at a reasonable volume and we're starting to feel sleepy, we can raise the question of whether we have the right to sleep peacefully without making any noise. The simple answer is no, but we should consider whether it fits nature or morality. No matter how much the Constitution gives us the right to sleep, we cannot use it where we don't want. We can also think about the fact that there are some limitations there. If we see it that way, all the rights given to us are based on morality and society; we should ask these things.
However, if the law violates our rights, we have the right to appeal.
But how right is it that we can sleep in other places or not where some rules have been given? We will see the answer to this question in the next question.
Special: Article 21 of the Constitution grants us the right to peaceful sleep, which is also known as the right to life. This article is considered essential for all our citizens.
